Privacy Policy
StationPulse — Play On, Never Miss Your Stop | Last updated: October 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Taner Şenyurt ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects
information when you use the StationPulse mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App,
you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information Processed Only on Your Device
- Location: When you start a journey, the App uses your device's location to measure the distance
to the destination you selected and to alert you when you are close. If you enable background alerts, location is
also used while the App is in the background, only until you arrive or end the journey. Location data is processed
on your device and is never sent to our servers.
- Wi‑Fi network identifier: On metro journeys the App reads the identifier (BSSID) of the station
Wi‑Fi network your device is connected to, and compares it with a station list stored in the App. This happens on
your device and is never transmitted.
- Motion data: On metro journeys the App may use motion sensors to detect when the train stops at
a station. Motion data is processed on your device and is never stored or transmitted.
- Game progress and settings: Scores, levels, coins, unlocked items, saved places and preferences
are stored locally on your device.
2. Information Sent to Our Servers
The App does not send individual events. At most once a day, when an internet connection is available, it sends a
short summary to Google Firebase. If the connection fails, it tries again later (at most three times a day); the App
keeps working offline in the meantime.
- Anonymous identifiers: The App signs in anonymously with Google Firebase, which creates a random
identifier, and also creates a random installation identifier shown to you in Settings as a short user code
(for example SP-7K3D9Q). Neither is linked to your name, email, or Apple ID. You can share the code with us when
you contact support.
- Usage summary: Time spent in each game, number of sessions, best scores, highest levels
reached, the order in which games were opened, how many journeys were started and completed (without any location
or station names), and a few display settings (battery saver, frame rate, music).
- Technical data: App version and build, version history on this device, device model,
iOS version, and language/region settings. Google Firebase may also process your IP address for service operation
and security.
- Version check: Once a day the App reads the current version rules from our server to tell you
about updates. This request contains no personal data.
You can turn off the usage summary at any time in Settings › Feedback and data › Share usage
statistics. The version check and feedback keep working when it is off.
2a. Feedback You Send
If you choose to send a bug report, suggestion, or thank-you message, we receive the text you write, the type of
message, your user code, the App version, and — only if you leave these options on — a screenshot of the game screen
(which you can mark up or partially hide before sending) and game/device details (game name, score, level, device
model, iOS version). Messages are stored on your device until a connection is available. Replies from us are shown in
Settings › My feedback. Screenshots are deleted once the report is closed.
3. Game Center
If you are signed in to Apple Game Center, your scores are submitted to Game Center leaderboards. Game Center is
operated by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy. Your Game Center nickname may be visible to other players on
leaderboards.
4. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Real names, email addresses, phone numbers, or physical addresses
- Your location history or the places you travel to
- Photos, contacts, microphone, or other personal files (a screenshot is sent only when you attach it to feedback)
- Financial or payment information
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or cross-app tracking data
- Health, fitness, or biometric data
The App contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
5. How We Use Information
- Providing destination and arrival alerts
- Saving your progress and rewards
- Showing Game Center leaderboards
- Understanding aggregate usage to improve games and features
- Telling you about new versions and, when a version can no longer be supported, asking you to update
- Answering and fixing the feedback you send
We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or user profiling.
6. Third-Party Services
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We may disclose information only if required by
law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of users or the public.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local data: Deleted when you uninstall the App.
- Usage summary: Kept for as long as needed to improve the App. Turning off "Share usage
statistics" stops new uploads.
- Feedback: Kept until the report is resolved; screenshots are deleted when the report is closed.
- To delete the data associated with your user code, email us with the code shown in Settings; we will process
your request within 30 days.
9. Data Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS), and Firebase Security Rules allow each anonymous user to write
only their own records. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No account is
required.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR, KVKK, and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete,
or object to the processing of your data. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email us at stationpulse@tsenyurt.com and include your user code.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date above.
